Fair Housing Laws
Discrimination in housing rental, sales and financing on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, marital status, source of income. disability or familial status is prohibited by the Federal Fair Housing Act and state law Fair Employment and Housing Act.

The State of California Department Civil Rights Department (CRD) is an agency charged with enforcing California's civil rights laws whose mission is to protect the people of California from unlawful discrimination in employment, housing, and public accommodations and from hate violence.
